I am on a teaching placement and cannot return a reservation, what should I do?

If you have borrowed an item and a reservation has been placed on it by another user then you will need to return it by its due date. Exceptions cannot be given to students who are on teaching placements or who live at a greater distance from the university.

When students borrow books, the Library cannot guarantee that it will be always possible to renew their books and extend their loan after its due date.

The option for library users to reserve books is a system put in place to allow everyone a fair chance to borrow books that are in high demand.

If you are unable to come to the Library you can send the book by post. If you choose to send it by post, students are reminded that they are responsible for all library books they borrow and therefore it is strongly recommended that all books are sent by recorded delivery to:
