Why can’t I see the full text of an online article?

The reasons why you may not see the full text of an online resource and the solution for this problem are:

  • You need to login on My Account so the Library Catalogue identifies you as a Roehampton student/staff and gives you access to online resources.
  • The Library does not have full-text access to that journal article, only the article abstract. Please check the E-Journals Finder to see if we subscribe to this title and over what date range.  Please note that some journals might have more than one link for different date ranges.

For more information you can find an illustrated guide to searching the Library Catalogue on our Library Tutorials page.

You can access journal articles via the E-Journals Finder or the Library Catalogue.

If we don’t have the item you are looking for you might want to visit other Libraries and/or request an Inter Library Loan through the link at the bottom of the Library catalogue search result page.

If this does not answer your query or solve the problem, please contact the library team for more assistance on +44 20 8392 3770, or though our online chat service.
